A M A Z I N G !!!! Staff super friendly and lovely. Location and atmosphere is fantastic. Prices were good, not at all expensive. The food: Absolutely divine!! So good that we went back the next morning for breakfast again. Definitely go here for breakfast, you will not be disappointed!
Wonderful food. We had a Moroccan eggs, pancakes, sausage roll, meat pie, and wow! Something different than most of the breakfast places. More variety and super tasty. Coffee was great too.

I just had toasted sourdough as they had bread from one of my favorite bakeries in Townsville. My friend had Breakfast Bruschetta which looked pretty and delicious. The coffee was nice, the atmosphere surrounded by plants was very comfortable. A good coffee/breakfast stop in the middle of the city.

Great atmosphere, coffee was tasty and the food was good. The young lad that seated us was prompt and attentive. The juices were pretty tasty, if I had any critique it would be that I quite like a Benedict option that is a bit of a spin off, like a pulled pork or brisket or something. This was a classic and it was done well, just personal preference. Food came out quickly and we were seated immediately. Would return 👍.
The Pedlar Cafe doesn’t have the seaside view, nor the sunrise, nor the sunset however they stood out from the other cafés around Townsville that I’ve visited through its own uniqueness. The first thing we noticed was that the birds barely paid attention to us when we walked in. It only means that the staff harassing them away nor encourage them - they’re simply left alone as part of the atmosphere. Because of that, the birds aren’t greedy or aggressive around leftover food on tables, which is actually rare to see. Dogs are welcome, adding to the relaxed and inclusive vibe. There are also books available for anyone to pick up and read. I’m not personally into crypto, but they accepts cryptocurrency payments. The food is excellent and very generous for the price. If you haven’t been yet, it’s worth experiencing for yourself. I can’t quite put everything in words based on my experience.
Service was incredible. As soon as we walked through the door, we were greeted and welcomed with warm smiles. It was a very welcoming environment. Food was amazing, value for money and great portion sizes. The atmosphere was very serene and is located in a very nice area. I got a smashed avo with two poached eggs and the eggs were spot on. I ended getting a flat white and the coffee was delicious, best coffee I have in a while. Highly recommend coming here and will definitely be back.
